Intro to Babysitting In-Person

This three-hour course will introduce several topics for aspiring babysitters ages 11 - 17. It will begin by discussing what they should avoid doing. Then, it will cover the different stages of child development, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Participants will learn about getting to know the family, basic care, and how to handle or avoid emergencies. They will also have hands-on experience changing a diaper and practicing holding a baby. The course will conclude with a brief quiz and a certificate of completion.

Light refreshments will be offered, but feel free to bring a snack of your liking. 

Registration is required. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
